From the NORTH, heading south, A1(M) Darlington take A66(M) & head East
From A66M take the A66 to Middlesbrough
From A66 Middlesbrough take Left ramp to roundabout and take 2nd exit onto A172 Marton Road.
At A172 Nunthorpe Roundabout take 2nd exit onto A1043
From A1043 Roundabout take 3rd exit onto A171 East towards Guisborough.
Stay on the A171 until A169 Roundabout near Whitby

From A64 York take

At the roundabout take exit for Whitby A171. Drive down hill passing a petrol station (Eves) on your left. At the roundabout take 2nd exit (straight on).
When you near a set of traffic lights, filter left (as heading for Town Centre) but get straight into and stay in the right hand lane. Traffic Lights here also.
Straight over and drive down a hill (Waterstead Lane). There is a turning right for a school and the road will start to bend to the right but you need to bear left onto Fishburn Road. A short distance and turn first left, between The “First In, Last Out” Public House (left) and a Butchers shop (right). Drive uphill to the end of the road, turn left and then first left onto Elgin Street. Parking is on your left side, Lavender House No10 is also on your left towards the bottom of the street.
IF YOU ARRIVE BY TRAIN OR BUS (on foot)
The Railway station and the Bus station are nearly side by side. With the Rail way Station on your LEFT and the Bus Station on your RIGHT, take the road between them. Keeping on the Right, at the end and adjacent to the Job Centre, turn right up some steps (Bobby’s Bank). Take these steps to the top and turn Left. Go past the Police Station on the Left and the Hospital on your Right and take the first Right onto Spring Hill. Continue to the top of the hill then take a left onto Falcon Terrace. Go to end of the street and nearly immediately opposite is Elgin Street. Lavender House No10 is on your Left towards the end of that street.
